Resilient straight bourbon whisky barrels are hand-picked single barrels of quality. "We are looking for barrels that are well balanced with grain and wood. Barrels that really shine and bring some great flavors to the nose and palate. We enjoy finding these barrels, bottling them up, and bringing them forward to our friends and community of whisky enthusiasts." On the nose, honey coated figs and dark chocolate flavors lead, oak provides weight and depth in the middle, with vanilla and caramel candy supporting underneath. On the palate, fresh fig and ripe plums lead throughout with an undercurrent of rich oak and vanilla, as caramel and spicy cinnamon sticks percolate. The finish is round and well-balanced with sweet and spice fading together as dark chocolate and plums persist. Dense sly layered and dangerously drinkable.
